Queensland Women’s Week March 12-13 2016, Nambour, QLD

CASE for Women

This two-day event will celebrate and inspire women’s engagement and leadership in innovative creative social entrepreneurship in regional Queensland. It will provide novel opportunities for young women to connect, increase their skill sets, share ideas and experiences, and acknowledge the important role women play in developing creative social entrepreneurship in Queensland. The event will involve young women aged 15-34 from in and around Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, in an effort to engender creative social entrepreneurship in Nambour, the regional centre of Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This event is also open to anyone who shares this vision. The event will connect established and aspiring creative social entrepreneurs through presentations, hands-on workshops, and open, co-creative activities.

The event is supported by the Queensland Government and YWCA as part of the 2016 Women’s Week Initiative with the theme:

Good for her. Great for us.
When women achieve, Queensland succeeds.

This theme celebrates women’s achievements as well as acknowledging that supporting and enabling women to take advantage of opportunities to succeed is good for everyone in Queensland.
